The pieces just fit together too nicely to be even moderately dismissed, Road Games an intoxicating, adrenaline-fueled thriller that's as brutal as it is invigorating.March 29, 2016
Despite that late inning stumble, Road Games still provides enough suspense, thrills and dark humor to leave genre buffs more than satisfied.March 03, 2016
The cast doesn't quite succeed in keeping the suspense fresh throughout the story's left turns.March 05, 2016
Road Games is far too slight and simple for a premise that starts with a twisted promise. It's more a board game than a chess match.December 21, 2016
Some may find Road Games a bit convoluted at times, but for me, the story's perplexing nature is so methodically purposeful that I can't help but tip my hat to Pastoll, who manages to create an intensely fun and often unsettling cinematic conundrum.March 04, 2016
Yes, you can enjoy Road Games even if you aren't a gorehound. I wish I could recommend Road Games beyond that though, since all roads lead to a twist ending that you can kinda-sorta make out from a mile off.August 26, 2016
Though its tendency to whimsy means it's not quite as tightly plotted as it needs to be, this charismatic little thriller still manages to punch above its weight.February 29, 2016
Stripped-down thriller benefits from its setting.April 22, 2016
For genre aficionados, this is a clever, refreshing take on an old story, and for everyone else, it's simply thrilling to get lost in translation.March 03, 2016
[A] well-acted but formulaic thriller.March 10, 2016
Though the inspiration here is clearly Hitchcockian, the movie's vibe is so tongue-in-cheek as to be weightless.March 06, 2016
A twisty little ride through the French countryside where everyone is suspect of playing hide the cheese knife.
