Like Crazy
It is the story of the binary who decided to escape from a mental institution that brings them together. The story began with Beatrice and Donatella, two patients of a mental institution, as Beatrice believes it is the Countess of billionaires and the mistress of world leaders is the girl who is making a big noise. They may both become friends. When Donatella hides quietly, everything will change through her planning. In the end, the plan to escape treatment and return to normal life succeeds to embark on a new life journey outside that institution.

Virzì's film ultimately adds up to little more than the tale of two mentally unstable people finally coming to accept their insanity - an awfully thin arc on which to build an overextended road-trip movie.December 29, 2016

Great performances by Valeria Bruni Tedeschi and Micaela Ramazzotti anchor this commedia al'Italiana-inspired movie.May 15, 2016
A pleasingly warm, human and female take on the subject, shot through with Virzi's customary attention to not only the characters but also the wider socio-political background.March 17, 2017

[Writer-director Paolo Virzi] expertly balances tension, hilarity and an emotionally affecting finale that, as with so much in this film, defies expectations.
