The real horror of Carrie does not lie with the vengeful, telepathic teenager of the movie's title, but in the endless stream of abuse she endures for the majority of its runtime.September 27, 2015

Stephen King's book outlines a world ringed with abuse, Brian De Palma visualizes it with vast amounts of pervy humor and ominous effulgence
